Why is the Bible
so Hard to Understand?

Why do Christians miss the most basic teachings of the Bible?

      The Challenge - If you doubt this, write down on a piece of paper what you think each of these words means and then compare that with Strong's Concordance or a Bible dictionary.

Let Me Sum it All Up

  • If the words used in the Bible do not communicate the meaning of the Bible, they are the wrong words.
  • If the Bible mentions the kind generosity of God by calling it the grace of God will anyone know what it is saying?
  • If the Bible teaches over and over again that people must trust Jesus Christ but it uses words like faith and believe to say it, who will trust Jesus?
  • "If a trumpet gives a strange sound, who will get ready for battle?" (1 Corinthians 14:8)
  • These are the wrong words because they do not communicate the real meaning of the Bible.
  • If you have a Bible with words that do not communicate the real meaning, are you not missing something? Are not chunks of the Bible unknowable to you? Isn't your Bible HIDING the message of God? The words may be sacred to you but they are hiding God's Word. They are the wrong words for today.
